It’s also popular because of its feature that it won’t cause the secondary pollution.  It’s not only a kind of generally environmental disinfectant which won’t lead to cancer but also it gains prominent effect in sterilization, food preservation and deodorization factor.Chlorine dioxide can be also used in bleaching instead of chlorine gas , such as textile and papermaking. The main application of CLO₂ is tap-water disinfection and flour & wood pulp bleaching. It can work against virus, bacteria, hydatoncus and egg capsule which includes Giardia, lamblia & Cryptosporidium efficiently.
